About the Alameda PTA Council
The Alameda PTA Council (PTAC) is the umbrella organization for PTA units in the city of Alameda, California. Operating as part of the Peralta PTA District, we support Alameda's parents and teachers to promote the mission of the
California State PTA:
"The mission of the California State PTA is to positively impact the
lives of all children and families by representing our members, and
empowering and supporting them with skills in advocacy, leadership and
communications."
The Alameda PTA Council:
- Promotes communication among PTA units to share best practices and common concerns.

Provides a unified voice in relationships with AUSD and other community partners.

Connects the Alameda PTAs with the resources, support, and advocacy
of the Peralta District and California State PTA organizations.
